334149: Amy’s choice for fabric of the month is our iridescent tassel on a tulle ground. Its volume gives it a beautiful movement to it and catches the light in a really unique way. 

We love seeing our fabrics come to life, especially in a production we’re obsessed with! Two of Bella Tela’s fabrics were features in the first season of the Netflix Original Bridgerton, a candy-coloured period drama set in the Regency period in England. We love the flambouyant use of colour which gives the would-be dull aesthetic of the time a real vibrancy. 

34426: Emma’s choice for fabric of the month is this beautiful 3D floral with a tulle ground. The flowers are delicately stitched with a spray of layered cut out leaves. It’s a classic Bella Tela style and is available in a stunning selection of colours.

This year has been a strange one for us with the lockdown restrictions meaning we haven’t been able to jump on a plane and conduct business as normal. So as we’re going into designing our next collection we are looking back at our travels over the years to fuel our creativity. We love finding inspiration in the most organic places, we look to architecture and nature and combine this with our specialist range of techniques which leads us on a journey to design a collection which is unique to Bella Tela. So whilst we are beavering away designing our new collection, we are dreaming of the day we can hop on a plane! Watch this space!
